Angelwood Pictures cancels Red Circles: The Movie

Angelwood Pictures announced today that it will be unfortunately cancelling plans for a feature film based on its second web series, Red Circles. The series won a total of ten LA Web Series Festival Awards and ran for 33 episodes. In 2014, the fourth season was cancelled in the middle of production due to scheduling issues.

“Due to our already rigorous production schedule, we unfortunately will no longer be pursing a film version of Red Circles, at this time. This series will always have a special place in our hearts as it was one of our first major original narratives. Maybe some day we can try to resurrect this project once again, but for now, it will remain within our own circle.” – Seth Chitwood, Creative Director of Angelwood Pictures

The production company also officially axed the In the Bedroom spin-off series, Into the Snoring.

However, this is only the beginning, as the production company is currently taking steps to pull back from some of its other productions. For example, production for World’s Worst Director: Season 3 has been pushed further into the summer.

More updates to come.
