It’s the end of an era! Well, at least for this mystery web series. After five seasons, Family Problems, will finally comes to an end on Thursday.
70 Episodes. Eight LA Web Series Festival Awards. The series has come a long way from the most asked question: “Who Killed Jennifer?” The first episode, titled “Start”, aired on February 16, 2013. Airing on Thursday, February 18 – the final episode, fittingly titled “Finish”, will premiere.
The series recently received four nominations for the 2016 LA Web Series Festival: Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Score, and Outstanding Ensemble Cast.
The episode begins with a bunch of people attending a funeral in January 2071. There crowd is full of some familiar faces; including Agent Cable (Kathryn Shasha) and Agent Wyatt (Lin Hultgren). Chief Alexander Hudson (John Samela) is also featured amongst the mourners. The service is being led by a priest played by special guest star Frank O’Donnell (’Red Circles’, ‘World’s Worst Director’).
Who’s funeral? You’ll find out in the first few minutes of the episode.
Throughout, mourners from this character’s past take the podium to reminisce about their accomplishments and give insight about how they should be remembered.
The episode will also reveal a few scenes about Detective Elliot’s (Natasha Hatalsky) past after the case was resolved. It will also reveal Rebecca Ellison’s (Wendy Hartman) rise and fall as the new head of Hamblin’s church.
Stephanie Eaton, Bella Moore, Stephen Lattimer, Susan Waletkus, Lorrie Bacon, Sean McPherson, Zele Avradopoulos, Jeanne Lohnes, and Mary C. Ferrara are amongst the MANY guest stars.
Sure be an emotional end, the 45-minute episode, will wrap up the story and give closure to the characters. Fans should be happy with the series finale!
